NAACP Legal Defense & Educ Fund Inc

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) is America’s premier legal organization fighting for racial justice. Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans. LDF also defends the gains and protections won over the past 82 years of civil rights struggle and works to improve the quality and diversity of judicial and executive appointments.

American Civil Liberties Union Foundation, Inc.

Founded in 1920, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, multi-issue, 1.5 million+ member public interest organization devoted to protecting the civil liberties of all people in the United States. Recognized as the nation's premier public interest law firm, the ACLU works daily in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. The ACLU Foundation is the 501 (c)(3) arm of the organization.

The Bail Project

The Bail Project is a national nonprofit organization designed to combat mass incarceration by disrupting the money bail system — one person at a time.

We believe that paying bail for someone in need is an act of resistance against a system that criminalizes race and poverty and an act of solidarity with local communities and movements for decarceration.

Over the next five years, The Bail Project will open dozens of sites in high-need jurisdictions with the goal of paying bail for tens of thousands of low-income people.

We won’t stop until meaningful change is achieved and the presumption of innocence is no longer for sale.

Southern Poverty Law Center, Inc.

The SPLC is a catalyst for racial justice in the Southand beyond, working in partnership with communities todismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectionalmovements, and advance the human rights of all people.

Coalition On Homelessness

The Coalition on Homelessness organizes homeless people and front line service providers to create permanent solutions to homelessness, while working to protect the human rights of those forced to remain on the streets.
