This fund is being established to financially support scholarships for various youth camps and activities.

All kids, no matter the life they are born into should have the opportunity to feel loved, protected, and safe. That someone is on their side because they want to be, not simply because the state has appointed them to be. Galyons was created to be a place of support for every part of the foster care community. A reference for employees, a resource for foster parents, and most importantly, a family kids can trust as they jump into adulthood. We encourage the kids to be accountable for their success and reward them for the small wins as well as the big leaps into the next phase of life. All while getting community members involved to rally around each kid and help them succeed. This project will provide digital literacy skills training for 50 schoolgirls in Gboko on Internet access, Basic computer literacy, cybersecurity and digital marketing to make them competitive for the Nigerian labor market and help them decrease the poverty rates of rural areas of the nation. For this theoretical and practical training will be offer to girls who have never gotten soft skills or computational skills, leaving them out of the job market.

Decades of corruption, armed conflict, and lack of investment, combined with the effects of natural disasters and recurrent outbreaks of cholera, measles, and Ebola, have left millions of people in extreme poverty. The country has been in a humanitarian crisis for decades, and the situation is only expected to worsen. We have created this fund to alleviate the suffering of children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There are approximately 5,000,000 orphans there, and massive need throughout the country. In a nation with a history of post-colonial civil war and a lack of potential for young people, there is an opportunity to help raise solid and educated children who will transform the DRC for the better. This project will accommodate many vulnerable children to offer them well-being and enable them to secure their future and become autonomous.

SOS Children's Village Tryavna, established in 1993, is the first of its kind in Bulgaria. This year we celebrate its 30th anniversary. Build on plot of land of 25 000 square meters, the SOS Children’s village consists of cozy family houses for SOS foster families, and SOS Consulting Center Tryavna, which provides support to children and families at risk, living in difficult social conditions. The playgrounds on the territory of the SOS village are used not only by its inhabitants, but also by children and youths and their parents from the neighborhood. Currently, the SOS village has a sports field that is used for football, basketball, and volleyball. There are also children’s swings, climbing frames, and trains, along with benches for resting. To further develop the outdoor space with fitness equipment, SOS Children Villages Bulgaria aims to purchase and install: a device for rehabilitation of hands and feet, and a combined device for outdoor fitness. The total needed sum, including transportation costs and installation fee, amounts to approximately BGN 3,500.

Philly Spin-In is a fun, high-energy, team cycling party benefiting the Cardiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The day will be filled with heart-pumping music, Philly’s top spin instructors, and inspiring patient stories. Teams and individuals can sign up for one of our two, four-hour cycling sessions. Since 2013 Foundation "For Change" annually organizes summer camps for kids in risk - kids who were abused, orphans, kids who live in poverty. In those summer camps we show the kids that there are other ways of communication, values in life. We encourage them to dream and be ready to make efforts for those dreams to come true. We show them love and correction, help them build skills they will need in their lives through games, activities and conversations. We believe that it is possible for them to have a good life and future and that their choices do matter. We do all of this with a team of great volunteers. One of those volunteers is the family of Ivo Rahov who is regularly part of those summer camps. But it is not only Ivo Rahov’s family that supports those children - it is all of you, who for the past several years are participating in preparing the Christmas gifts for those kids. It is exactly the Summer Camps which allow us to build strong relationships with those children which we can then extend with all the other smaller in size campaigns for them. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, where the world’s largest known reservoirs of this metal are found, provides a substantial amount of the cobalt the world needs to meet its growing demand. Cobalt is a critical component in rechargeable car batteries and is indispensable for the transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy sources. Despite the Commission's zero‑tolerance approach to child labor in trade agreements, it is estimated, according to reports by UN agencies, that in the southern Katanga province, more than 40 000 children are working in hazardous conditions in cobalt mines, with inadequate safety equipment and for very little money. It is estimated that 20% of the mines in the DRC are small-scale and use mostly child workers. These children, aged between 3 and 17, have to work in appalling and dangerous conditions, usually barefoot. According to the International Labour Organisation “child labour unifies all the activities which deprive children of their childhood, potential and dignity, along with harming their schooling and physical and mental development. We have created this fund to increase the effectiveness and protection of economic, social and cultural rights of local communities and traditional miners in relation to the exploitation of mineral resources, in the DRC. This will be achieved through a legal reform, the popularization of legal texts, awareness raising of local community leaders, of the judiciary and mine administration officials on their rights and obligations; in support of mining diggers rights and the monitoring of human rights related to the exploitation of natural resources. Their teams serve local families by providing frontline emergency medical care and training, while also delivering situation-specific humanitarian relief. Over time, They organize and train teams of locals to provide medical care and conduct their own humanitarian relief operations with minimal outside help. We call this “Charity With Dignity.”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is changing the way they accept toys and gifts for children and families spending the holidays in the hospital. Help me make the holidays special for these children through a tax-deductible donation in support of the Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy team at CHOP. This special team provides care and support year-round to children and families in the hospital. With thousands of children visiting CHOP every year, the Child Life team has an ongoing need for toys, craft supplies, books, video games and movies. In the absence of an in-person toy drive this year, the Child Life Department depends on monetary donations to provide holiday gifts to the many children spending the season in the hospital. In partnership with Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI), CAAN is hosting a holiday fundraising drive to help bring holiday cheer this season to many low-income families. This includes families of survivors of domestic violence, refugees, foster youth and other low-income clients AACI serves. Our goal this year is to raise funds to provide gifts for approximately 700 children that AACI serves. Our hope is for each child to receive a $25 gift card which will allow the children to choose their own gifts and for families to have a stronger sense of autonomy when it may be difficult for them to accept help. Every $25 equates to a holiday gift for one child. Your gifts enables the families to feel the magic of the holidays with their little ones amidst these challenging times. The holiday drive will run from now to December 15 and every dollar donated will be matched by Cisco!
