The mission of The Happy Transgender Center is to provide financial assistance to transgender people for gender-confirming surgeries by raising money to fund gender-affirming surgeries for those transgender people who need surgery to live a healthy life but lack the ability to pay for it themselves. Not every Transgender person requires surgery to live their authentic lives, however, the Happy Transgender Center recognizes that for those people who do require surgery for a healthy gender transition, lack of access to surgery may result in hopelessness, depression and sometimes, suicide. By providing a means to have the surgery, the Happy Transgender Center is promoting the self-determination and empowerment of all transgender people.
