Founded in 2016, the Neurodiversity Foundation is a nonprofit built and run by the neurodiverse for the neurodiverse. We provide a platform for autistic advocates to speak to their experience and provide language for others. We accomplish rewriting a highly stigmatized narrative through reframing misconceptions around autism and inaccurately forecasted "outcomes", harming a child's self-efficacy. Our community projects are evaluated through a lens of empowerment. Utilizing a strengths-first approach so individuals feel proud of their identity rather than limited by it.
