Texas & Oklahoma Wildfire Update (From TCFA) The Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma are facing devastation due to several wildfires that have and continue to burn hundreds of thousands of acres. Thank you for the outpouring of support we have already received from so many of you. It is very much appreciated. As the devastation continues and eventually rebuilding begins, we encourage the cattle feeding community to come together to help in any way they can, whether it be prayers, donating materials, time or money. The Smokehouse Creek Wildfire, originating in Texas, is the second-largest wildfire in state history. This wildfire, along with several other fires, have spread throughout the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma, and Kansas, devastating various communities. Many have faced displacement from their homes and livelihoods, and access to resources has been limited. The following organizations are providing relief to those impacted by the wildfires by providing immediate and long-term relief efforts.
