Loisaida Inc

The Loisaida Center is one of the two Puerto Rican/Latino based multi-use facility remaining in the downtown area. We aspire to build a connection between community, learners, artists and scholars through affordable education opportunities in cultural fields, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) design and everyday life.Its multi-purpose space aims to become an incubator for self-sustainable artisanal, technology, and culinary arts entrepreneurial initiatives. Devoted to collaborative art practices, social engagement and community building through culture, the vision is to facilitate a mindset of exploration. Our approach celebrates the urban surroundings, grassroots invention and immigrant spirit of the Loisaida neighborhood.

United We Dream’s mission is to build a multi-racial, multi-ethnic movement of young people who organize and advocate at the local and national levels for the dignity and justice of immigrants and communities of color in the United States.
