Intersectional Environmentalist (IE)'s work is rooted in intersectional environmentalism, an inclusive approach to environmentalism that advocates for the protection of both people + the planet. Through this framework, we believe social + environmental justice are intertwined and environmental advocacy that disregards this connection is harmful and incomplete. IE focuses on achieving climate justice, amplifying historically excluded voices + approaching environmental education, policy, and activism with equity, inclusion and restorative justice in mind.

Project Drawdown® is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help the world reach “drawdown”—the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline.

Climate Justice Alliance

Climate Justice Alliance (CJA) formed in 2013 to create a new center of gravity in the climate movement by uniting frontline communities and organizations into a formidable force. Their translocal organizing strategy and mobilizing capacity is building a Just Transition away from extractive systems of production, consumption and political oppression, and towards resilient, regenerative and equitable economies. CJA believes that the process of transition must place race, gender and class at the center of the solutions equation in order to make it a truly Just Transition.

Let’s bring the deep bench of human sciences, collective action and social innovation tools, community-generated data and improvement methods, key knowledge partners like our (mental) health and education systems, to fuel frontline grassroots implementers and networks, and propel, equip, and enable all of us to seize this work.
