Lebanese Red Cross
The Lebanese Red Cross is the National Society in the country since 1945 leading in Emergency Medical Services and Blood Transfusion Centers. LRC is present in Lebanon in peace time as in times of conflicts, lately with the manifestations in the country and in February with the Covid19 outbreak.
LRC also has Primary Health Centers, a disaster management unit other than the supporting sections.
CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice. We seek a world of hope, inclusion, and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and all people live with dignity and security. We put women and girls in the center because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.
Union of Relief and Development Associations
We commit to assisting and nurturing human beings regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, faith or political affiliation. Whether we intervene in disaster relief or sustainable development actions, we serve both underserved Lebanese citizens as well as Palestinian and Syrian refugee communities to the highest international, professional, and ethical standards.
