Invade Transitional Home and Ministries Corp
This nonprofit was created close to home. I was looking for something to give my time to that would make an impact in someone's life. I visited one of the transitional homes and witnessed how these women who thought they could not accomplish anything, have life put back into them. The things this program offers is for someone who really wants a second chance. From making sure these women get something as simple as learning to be independent to something as important as getting their GED and a future. For someone to give their time and money to help these young women would mean a lot. This non-profit grew a little faster than expected and they have been having issues with the home that was purchased through their grant. This money would help them make the updates needed so that the septic system can be replaced and upgraded to accommodate the increased number of women receiving the assistance.
