India is currently battling one of the worst outbreaks of COVID with over 300,000 reported cases per day. Hospitals are currently overwhelmed and do not have enough oxygen, beds, and ventilators to treat all patients. While the pandemic is subsiding here in the US, experts expect that India's cases will increase to 500,000/day and will not peak until mid-May.
