A Community Of Friends

A Community of Friends' mission is to end homelessness through the provision of quality permanent supportive housing for people with mental illness. We are a developer and provider of affordable housing for individuals and families who have experienced homelessness and have a disabling condition, primarily mental health. Our apartment buildings include a variety of on-site supportive services for our tenants. Our goal is to create safe, attractive, independent living environments with services needed to help our tenants stabilize their lives and thrive.

Native American Connections, Inc.

NAC is improving the lives of individuals and families through culturally appropriate behavioral health, affordable housing, and community development services.

First Place for Youth

The mission of First Place for Youth is to help foster youth build the skills they need to make a successful transition to self-sufficiency and responsible adulthood.

Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corp.

Founded in 1981, the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation's (TNDC) mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services for low-income people in the Tenderloin community and be a leader in making the neighbhorhood a better place to live. TNDC owns and operates 25 buildings and houses over 2,500 residents, who earn less than $20,000 a year and are considered by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development as being "extremely low-income." In addition, TNDC's supportive services (a team of on-site social workers and an after-school center for children and teens) are providing a foundation for building better lives.

Street Teens A Nevada Non-Profit Corporation

Street Teens is a volunteer based, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting homeless, abandoned, and at risk youth, ages 12-21, in the Las Vegas Valley.  Our primary goal is to meet the survival needs of our youth by providing basic necessities in a safe, compassionate environment.  We are able to provide access to educational, health care, and employment resource services through our drop-in center and by actively collaborating with community partners.  Street Teens does not discriminate on the basis of gender, religious affiliation, national origin, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
