Australia’s east coast is in the midst of one of the worst floods in the country’s history. After a summer of record high rainfall, the floods have so far caused a number of deaths, and the evacuation of thousands of Queensland and New South Wales residents. The clean-up and rebuild will be lengthy and onerous. Some people lost everything. Donating money is a very effective way to help the victims without overwhelming the resources of the affected communities.

The Red Cross flood appeal for QLD and NSW, enables volunteer and staff to help with evacuations, relief centres and outreach service as well as supporting the recovery of the affected areas, across both states.
ST VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY NSW
Donations to St Vincent’s NSW flood appeal will go towards food supplies and other essentials as well as helping families move back home, and replacing damaged furniture.
