U.S. Disaster Relief Fund

About

This year's devastating hurricane and wildfire seasons has left many people without basic necessities - a roof over their heads, food to eat, and warm clothing for the winter months. The nonprofits chosen for the U.S. Disaster Relief Fund focuses on supporting nonprofits who are on the ground providing food and nutrition to the affected communities in California, Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

Houston Food Bank

The Houston Food Bank has a history as a disaster-relief organization that provides food support for short and long term recovery for residents of southeast Texas who are struggling to rebuild. Currently, the Houston Food Bank's greatest need is for funds to help provide relief and continue recovery efforts. Donations will be used for disaster relief until this year's needs are met, and the remaining funds will support ongoing hunger-relief efforts. Houston Food Bank provides service to an 18-county area of southeast Texas, the majority of which has been affected by Hurricane Harvey, the greater Houston metropolitan, population 6.4 million.
